Would you like to come to a 30 minute music & movement class ?

'Toddler Dance' is a class for Mums/grans/granddads or anybody else important to enjoy songs, movement (approaching dance), musical instruments and colourful equipment for a mood-enchancing happy half an hour!

 

Class aims to keep children "on-the-move" and is a mixture of traditional and modern music - however there is a rest in the middle (for the grown-ups really) with a couple of seated action songs - then off we go again. Each class ends with a special surprise ending. Toddlers will not be expected to be constantly doing exactly what is expected...just gently encouraged by example to join back in.

Susan has 10 years experience with family music and movement and has been providing this class (which has roots going back 30 years) in Muckart for the last 3 years. It has been suggested we move to Dollar and to Thursday mornings. HOWEVER THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO BE POPULAR AFTER ALL Please message or email if you are interested.  Class is a great confidence builder and also great for motor skills and great exercise for us adults! You don't have to sing and you don't have to be able to dance. I have several grans, dads and a grandad who have enjoyed classes over the years. Class is designed for age 13mths (walking) up to 5 years but younger siblings can join in too; and if you want to come along with a younger one I can discuss it with you.
